Swedish Pubs
Most people laugh at the suggestion of drinking in Sweden ! Prices are not good, but cheaper than Norway and much cheaper then they used to be. For foreigners coming to Sweden, the Swedish Krone is worth less than it has been in recent years and so you don't need to take out a loan to buy a beer. There is a wide selection of places in downtown Stockholm to satisfy all sorts of tastes. There are plenty of "in" places, which I avoid like the plague as I am not particularly into the old Swedish pasttime of queuing, and certainly when the bar is half empty and it's minus 10 degrees outside ! There are plenty of great places to visit though where queuing is not mandatory. Check out the list of places below. There should be something there to suit most tastes.
