is the one I prefer. It has a slightly more English theme, but it's
unmistakably still an
American bar. This
is the bar that will show the big International games and Champions
League football matches. They have the satellite
dish that many of the other bars do not have. Beware of the 20 Dollar
cover charge for these games though. You have to question whether it's
worth it for that price, but they will negotiate a lower price if there's
a large group. They serve a good selection of draught beers and there's
a reasonable collection of bottled beers too. 
They
serve lots of food here and it's very edible and well prepared. As
with most American bars,
the staff are excellent and always willing to help. There's
a good atmosphere in here for games and it's well worth a visit during
match
time. You can even sit outside and watch the game on the patio in the
sunshine, which isn't something that you get to do too often in Oslo
is it ! There's an interesting collection of number plates on the wall
behind the bar pictured below 
and
notice the souped up Morris Minor truck parked outside in the above
photograph. This is indeed a very
rare site in California. It has the registration plate of "Two
Pubs".
I'm not sure what the significance is, other than that plate is one
of the plates in the bar display, but it's a certainly an unusual sight
in this part of the world. This bar has supposedly been frequented
by the rich and famous, including Rod Stewart, but who knows the truth.
It would not surprise me though. This is Rod's kind of place !
