I have to tell you that we were more than a little surprised to stumble across this gem in downtown Ljubljana. Most Slovenian pubs and bars serve only the locally produced beer, which is fine, but for those wanting something a little darker then an Irish or English pub is probably the only place you will find it. Patrick's serves a decent Guinness and Kilkenny with a very traditional Irish atmosphere. The service was excellent too and they really made us feel welcome. They have a flat screen TV too which shows a number of sporting events. Watch out for the private parties though, when the bar may be closed without warning.
