This is Norway's outpost in Prague
and one might argue that Kampa Park is one of those 'must visit' restaurants
for
any visiting Norwegian. Conversely, why would any visiting Norwegian
want to visit a Norwegian restaurant when in Prague ? Regardless of
your views, you will not be disappointed at this premium Prague restaurant
serving
traditional Scandinavian food. As one might expect, it's one of the
most expensive places
to eat in Prague, but when you click on their website and view the
names of the rich and famous people who have eaten
here, it's hardly surprising that its so pricey. They have two outdoor
terraces overlooking the river which are very popular in the summertime,
although the lower one was completely submerged during the flooding.
This is certainly the place to be on 17th May where there are celebrations
for the kids at the adjoining playground and i'm sure that this is
the only place that you are likely to see any Norwegian national costumes
in the city. Take a look at their excellent web site for more information,
including a copy of the menu. |
